CURRENT PROBLEMS

Centralized data

By using Clorophilla Protocol users are the owners of their data which is stored encrypted on public ledgers.

Regulation

We know this will happen at some point, but we don’t know when or how. With this in mind, we are developing a framework that will benefit all the actors in this space.

Transparency

Clorophilla Protocol is one of the few projects with impact both on-chain and off-chain.

THE SOLUTION

An on-chain encrypted data-sharing protocol

The user encrypts information and stores it on-chain.
Decryption is possible only for certain beneficiaries

USE CASES

Proof of Ownership

With information stored on-chain, proof-of-ownership & proof-of-funds can now be done in a decentralized way.

KYC

This is the only method of performing on-chain KYC and associate data with an anonymus on-chain address

Encrypted Data Sharing

Clorophilla Protocol can be used for P2P encrypted messaging using public blockchains.

SECONDARY USE CASES

Ownership proof

With encrypted identity information connected to an address, set ownership & proof of funds can now be done in a decentralized way. Useful in cases of ownership dispute and regulatory requirements.

Private Key Share

This is the only method of sharing a private key in a trustless and decentralized way. Useful in case of emergency when sharing with trusted parties such as family members, trustees and lawyers is necessary.

Encrypted Messaging

With encrypted identity information connected to an address, set ownership & proof of funds can now be done in a decentralized way. Useful in cases of ownership dispute and regulatory requirements.

Yes, Clorophilla Protocol is completely decentralized. There are no servers and the data sharing process in performed exclusively on-chain.

The main use cases are KYC, proof-of-ownership for on-chain addresses and the associated assets, encrypted messaging, proof-of-identity and secure data management.

There will be some minor costs associated with each operation (e.g. encryption, re-encryption, sharing). These costs will be much less than the industry standard.
